
Connect2Media, has announced the soundtrack line-up and official title of their forthcoming Lumines mobile phone game.
Lumines: In The House Ibiza '10 will have a soundtrack that includes major dance artists from Defected Records, the world's biggest independent dance music label. Artists featured include Sandy Rivera, ATFC, Karizma and Fish Go Deep.
As well as supplying a soundtrack for the game Defected have also collaborated with Connect2Media to develop an overall look and feel for the game that combines Defected's distinctive visual style with the unmistakable Lumines gameplay incorporating Defected 'skins' into the game for a customisable gameplay experience.
Connect2Media's COO, Greg Robinson, commented "The quality of the soundtrack for Lumines In The House Ibiza'10 is world class and shows how intrinsic music is to a game like Lumines. It really elevates the game to a new level and creates a new Lumines title that feels as fresh and vibrant as the very first time you saw it".

Sandy Rivera, one of the hottest names on the dance scene, features on the soundtrack and is joined by ATFC, who has produced for the likes of Fat Boy Slim and Missy Elliot, and in-demand DJ Karizma who lists Michael Jackson and Alicia Keys as artists he has worked with. The soundtrack will be presented in full MP3 quality on all compatible handsets when the game goes live on carrier networks in August this year. The track listing for the full game is:

Together with Japan's Q Entertainment, Connect2Media announced the return of Lumines to mobile in December 2009. Since the first Lumines game appeared its unique integration of music, graphics and gameplay have earned it a place amongst the most innovative and iconic video games franchises and sales in excess of 2.5 million units.
