These days you can find games of every genre. From games that let you be a

soldier in war to a driver in an underground race to even a bumbling pirate
in search of his destiny. However, very few games are able to combine
multiple genres into 1 perfect package. This game is a fine example of such
a hybrid. Although the game features the same old storyline of good versus evil, it is the gameplay that draws you in by making you plan your every step as well as
being able to micromanage. As simple as this game may sound, the amount of
depth you can get from playing this game is astounding. It is similar to
playing a game of chess except in this case you move characters with several
abilites and attributes and hope that your every move gets you one step
closer to winning.
As you progress through the storyline, it becomes apparent that the game slowly introduces units to you. You cant access some of the better troops early on in the game but with successful troop placement you can seal a victory. However, victory does not come easily as the A.I. in this game is tricky. It goes after lone troops and if injured, retreats to safety so that
it can heal and live to fight another day. This makes for some interesting

battles as you dont want a high level enemy to be retreating when his health
is at its lowest - only for it to come back and haunt you if you let it
retreat. By facing you with such decisions its no wonder this game provides
everal hours of challenging gameplay. The storyline mode itself must have
provided me with over 20 hours of thought provoking strategising. Like a
game of chess it asks the question - sacrifice many troops to win a small
battle or retreat and figure out a different battle plan. Whatever the
decision, the game doesnt just end with the storymode. There is also a
skirmish mode where you have access to 2 huge maps whereby you can use any
of the troops available in the entire game to take the opponents town. Some
of the skirmishes have provided me with over 3 hours of gameplay and Ive
even had a fully charged battery run nearly flat playing this game for so
many hours straight.
With so many things going right for this game, youd think it is perfect. It
nearly is but misses the mark on a few things. Even though gameplay is long,

I found that 2 skirmish maps were not enough to keep me wanting to play the
game after completing the storyline mode. My appetite had be whet and to
have only 2 skirmish maps is probably the single most terrible part of the
game. You can play them several times using different strategies but I wish
Macrospace had included a few more maps. Also, the storyline is weak and
ends abruptedly - you dont even get a simple congradulatory message for
beating the game and it leaves the plot hanging in the air.
Other than that - this game is a must buy for your mobile. Ive never been so
absorbed playing my mobile phone! The replayability factor of this game can
be quite high if you can look past its minor misgivings.
