Synergenix, the European subsidiary of mobile

games publisher Kayak Interactive announced

the opening of a local office and organization in the United Kingdom.

The office is based in London and provides

Synergenix and Kayak with dedicated local

presence in one of the world's most advanced

markets for mobile games and entertainment. The

company plans to use this new presence to build

closer direct relationships with the networks,

brand owners and developers giving the company a

leading position as the mobile entertainment

sector continues to expand and evolve.

Mr. Chris Hanage, a veteran of the magazine

publishing market, with many years of experience

in dealing with intellectual property and global

brands, has been appointed as Country Manager of

the new office, reporting directly to the General

Manager - Europe and Asia of Kayak Interactive and Synergenix.

“I am very excited to be working with Synergenix

and Kayak,” says Hanage. “The company has a huge

amount of experience, credibility and passion for

mobile gaming and I'm looking forward to working

with them as the mobile games market continues to grow.”

The opening of the new UK office is another

significant step forward for Synergenix and

Kayak. A wide range of original and branded games

including Carmageddon, Crazy Golf, Guinness World

Records, Pixudoku, Lock ‘n Load and Conflict:

Global Storm have been launched during 2005 with

plans for The DaVinci Code to be launched in

2006. The company also introduced a number of

advanced new gaming services including the first

pay-to-play, real-time 3D games, which were

launched in October on the 3 network in the UK.

“We have been planning to create a dedicated UK

office for some time,” says Martin Forsling, the

General Manager - Europe and Asia of Kayak

Interactive and Synergenix. “The market is very

advanced, with a consumer base which is growing

every day, mobile networks which understand the

value of games and many development studios. The

time is now right for us to establish ourselves

more fully within the market and with Chris, we

have found a very experienced and enthusiastic

manager. We have made several key launches in the

UK this year and we have many more exciting new

projects to be announced in 2006.”
