InfoSpace’s 3D Golf Captures the Challenge and Realism of the Sport
with Real-time 3D Animation, Weather Effects, and Customisable Characters
Driving
the trend of realistic 3D mobile gaming, InfoSpace
(NASDAQ: INSP) announced the launch of Golf Club 3D. Developed by InfoSpace's
elkware studio, Golf Club 3D features stunning real-time 3D animation, realistic
environments and customisable players to deliver a complete and fully interactive
golfing experience for mobile gamers.
Golf Club 3D allows mobile phone customers to hit the links, playing through an
18-hole golf course in both single player and multiplayer modes. The incredible
3D course graphics include sand traps, rough, waterways, fairways and greens that
change the behaviour of the ball, giving players the most realistic golf experience
possible. The game is complete with weather effects and five unique camera views
that allow players to witness the game from all angles. Players are also given
the option to customise a player's appearance and receive detailed player statistics
to further enhance their gaming experience.
"Mobile games are becoming more sophisticated as an increasing number of
handsets are now capable of supporting 3D graphics," said Steve Elfman, vice
president of operations at InfoSpace Mobile. "As 3D mobile games grow in
popularity, InfoSpace Mobile will continue to bring realistic game experiences
such as Golf Club 3D to mobile users."
